After stepping into the producer’s shoes with NH10, Anushka Sharma is all set to make another film under her home production banner Clean Slate Films. According to reports, the production house has approached Life of Pi actor Suraj Sharma for the lead role in the film, which is titled Phillauri. The project goes on floors in April.
Suraj, who is very much interested in the script, will be meeting the producers next month. If things go according to plan, the actor will come on board. Sources also say that the film will project a very different kind of humour, something that has not been attempted in Bollywood so far. Anshai Lal has been roped in to direct the film, that will be shot in Phillauri, which is a place in Punjab.
