Mumbai: Online travel agency MakeMyTrip and e-commerce giant Flipkart have tied up for online bookings of hotels and flights. This will allow it to reach Flipkart's huge customer base for travel business. The deal will start with domestic flight bookings.

MakeMyTrip's other portals such as Goibibo and redBus will also be a part of the deal. Customers can now avail MakeMyTrip's offers from Flipkart.

Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said the partnership will help make travel booking a seamless experience for customers, even those in the farthest regions, while also furthering goal of being a one-stop destination for all digital transactions online.
