US dollar ends sharply cheaper against rupee

Pound sterling also finished lower at 91.25/27 per pound.

Mumbai: The US dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at 64.97/98 per dollar and the pound sterling also finished lower at 91.25/27 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market here on Thursday.

Following are the Interbank forex and RBI rates : (In Rs per unit) Unit Interbank RBI Reference US Dollar 64.97/98 US Dollar Rs. 65.0601 Pound Sterling 91.25/27 Euro Rs. 79.7767 Euro 79.68/70 Japanese yen(100) 60.68/70.
