In a bid to improve and make the examination system more student-friendly, Delhi University has launched an online public poll for seeking suggestions on the pattern of examination.

Under this feedback survey, the varsity is attempting to take opinion poll through an online questionnaire. Based on the feedback received, it will be decided how to improve the examination system.

According to DU officials, there is a need to make the exam system foolproof and completely online than before. “The system should be student-friendly so that they do not have to face any kind of problem. In such situation, we thought of taking feedback from general public with help of an online poll process,” an official said.

The survey process started Wednesday and will continue till October 25.

The administration is seeking suggestions for the examination system in three types of categories. This includes the DU entrance exams, regular exams (college test) and the School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate Women Education Board exams.

It is to be noted that the university, while making a student-friendly approach, has even introduced the system of getting degrees online even before the recent convocation.

The administration via online questionnaire has invited suggestions on matters of privacy of students answer sheets, students grievance, internal assessment. It also been asked if the certified marksheets should be available on the website for 6 months.
