PeeCee and Whitney together bring Bumble to one of the world’s largest populations and hosted a private dinner.

Mumbai: A day after her exclusive bridal shower, Priyanka Chopra was back to her duties as an entrepreneur as she joined Bumble’s founder and CEO, Whitney Wolfe Herd in hosting a sit-down dinner to announce Bumble India.

Dedicated to empowering women and ending misogyny around the globe, the social network by women, for everyone, boasts of  three different modes (Bumble Bizz, Bumble BFF, and Bumble Date) for professional networking,  friend-finding, and dating.

Priyanka Chopra and Whitney Wolfe Herd together bring Bumble to one of the world’s largest populations and hosted a private dinner attended by Jay Sean and the Royal Princess of Jaipur, Anjula Acharia, Gauravi Kumari, Anita Dongre and Bibhu Mohapatra, celebrity chef Hari Nayak, Roopal Patel, Huma Abedin among others.

Inspired by the country's opulent colors, the theme of the dinner hosted at the Gramercy Park Hotel, was everything Indian with props like rickshaws and cycles as guests enjoyed cocktails with Bollywood music including Priyanka's hit songs.

On the occasion said Whitney Wolfe Herd, “We sat next to each other at another Bumble dinner and [Priyanka] was like, ‘Why don’t we take this to India?."
Adding that, "We’re entering India as a full-fledged social network.We’re going in as the empowerment platform across the board".
