Rajkummar Rao is on a roll. He picks seemingly difficult roles and pulls them off with utmost ease. It’s no surprise that the actor has gained popularity for his versatile acting chops.
Now he will be seen in The White Tiger with Priyanka Chopra, whom he is completely awe-struck by. “We have been shooting in Delhi for The White Tiger and I am glad I got an opportunity to work with Priyanka Chopra. She is so chilled out and such a warm person. I feel the ‘desi girl’ tag is apt for Priyanka; she is a complete desi girl,” he smiles, adding: “When you have such a talented co-star, your work gets easy and I hope everybody likes this when they watch it.”
Ramin Bahrani will helm the movie that is adapted from Aravind Adiga’s Man-Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. It follows an extraordinary journey of a self-made man from being a teashop worker in a village to a successful entrepreneur in a big city.
