Anupam Kher’s New Amsterdam trending in the USA!
The series showed strong vitals with its Tuesday premiere, and is considered NBC’s best demo number within that particular time slot in two years.
Ever since Anupum Kher’s NBC series New Amsterdam premiered on 25 September, it has generated the fourth biggest total viewership on NBC. It recorded a 1.8 + Live first day rating based on an 8.4 million viewership. And its second episode, which was aired on Tuesday, has been trending in the United States.
The series showed strong vitals with its Tuesday premiere, and is considered NBC’s best demo number within that particular time slot in two years.
“The general acceptance from the audience has once again reinstated my faith in backing scripts with entertaining value, interesting characters and an underlying message. I’m humbled and deeply honoured with the great response the show has been receiving,” said the veteran actor.
Actors from the fraternity including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anushka Sharma and Sonali Bendre among others, took to their social media to wish the actor well for his new American show.
