Vicky Donor 2 depends on a better script

Ayushmann Khurrana’s debut film Vicky Donor left audiences hankering for a sequel ever since it released. While there have been talks about a follow-up, nothing concrete seems to have materialised yet. About plans for a sequel, Ayushmann says, “I have no idea. If Shoojit cracks a better script than Vicky Donor, then I would very much like to do it and I hope I am in it.”

“You also have to be sure before you go ahead with a sequel, since Vicky Donor has done so well; it should not ruin it,” he adds.

Vicky Donor released in 2012 and was a huge success. The film was about a sperm donor; a subject completely new to the Indian audience.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann is on a career high after giving two back-to-back hits with Andhadhun and Badhai Ho.
