Rajkummar Rao is an actor and he loves to be called that. He clearly stated how much he hates being called a hero, and in fact is happy that the industry is changing the definition of hero.

At ‘Stree’ trailer launch, when asked about the changing scenario, Rajkummar went on to give Aamir Khan’s example and mentioned how despite being a superstar, he went on to become an actor in a film.

He said, “The definition of hero is changing and Aamir Khan is the best example of it. He played a father in ‘Dangal’ (which wasn’t the hero but a character). Audiences also want to see characters these days.”

Rajkummar Rao has played a pivotal role in bringing in the change in cinema by doing movies like ‘Newton’, ‘Trapped’ and ‘Omerta’.
