Rajkummar Rao in Dostana 2?

Rajkummar Rao is one Bollywood actor who is definitely going places. He’s managed to carve a niche for himself working on small but impactful productions, and after an exceptional couple of years as far as releases are concerned, he’s on the brink of entering the big leagues.

Rumour has it that Rao is all set to sign a deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and what comes as an even bigger surprise is the film itself. Apparently, Johar wants Rao to play the lead role in a sequel to the hugely successful 2008 comedy Dostana, which featured Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.

This is a film that’s been in the pipeline for quite a while now, and if things go as planned, Rajkummar Rao will be seen playing a character that he’s never played before. That’s all we can tell you for now. Watch this space for more.
