Priyanka Chopra, Meghan Markle and Michelle Obama are among those who have always stood for gender equality, promoting girl power whether through their work or their philanthropy.

This time, the trio along with a host of other celebrities has come together for the Girl Up Leadership Summit, set to take place from July 13-15.

While Markle will serve as the keynote speaker, Obama will be sharing a special message during the event.

“The present is female! But don’t take our word for it. Hear Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex’s advice for global girls leaders when she takes the stage at the 2020 @GirlUp Leadership Summit, happening virtually July 13-15!” the Girl Up group tweeted.

Keeping the current situation in mind, the summit will be taking place virtually, where Priyanka will reportedly be taking part in a Q&A session.

According to various reports, Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer of Facebook and Nadia Murad Basee, a Yazidi human rights activist will also be participating and will be talking on equality and female empowerment.
