Demonetisation of higher currency gave major blow to terrorism: Nirmala Sitharaman

Chennai: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday said, the decision of demonetisation of higher currency gave a major blow to terrorism.
"The biggest achievement of demonetisation is that terrorism has been badly hit and the stone-pelters which were in thousands have reduced because their cash flow was cut," Sitharaman said.
The Defence Minister also attended a signature campaign organised by Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Youth Wing in Chennai to observe the Anti-Black Money Day.
BJP Youth Wing organised this event against the Congress party 'Black Money Day'.
