The simple yet genius device is made using a metal pole which is carefully covered with green leaves.
Already a hit with visitors, they can now get a better view of the 16.5 feet tall Moja or the smaller but still tall Tonda, Kito, Napoli and the smallest one Oscar who still towers at 11.5 feet.
The ‘Self-ari Stick’ provides the perfect picture opportunity by helping guests get on the same level as these towering animals.
Speaking to a channel, keeper Becky Apperley-Gawn says that the whole point behind it was to get the whole body of the giraffe in the frame.
Chessington World of Adventures developed the 'self-ari stick' to raise awareness of the silent extinction of the Rothschild's giraffe.
