Without fail every morning, an orderly (please don't call them ward boy) came by to change my bed clothes. (DC Photo: Rajesh Jadhav)
That's the nursing crew that looked after us. They addressed all my anxieties, and kept me connected to the outside world.
The room with two patient beds was spacious and well-appointed.
On the other side of the screen, that's the other patient in my room talking to his family on the mobile phone.
The room was sanitised twice a day.
And the food was different every day. Neatly package and proportionnate.
The nurses took my blood pressure four times a day.
and collected by blood samples wearing three layers of gloves.
It was initially disconcerting to be attended by people in head-to-toe protection but that's what is required to can you tell that she's actually smiling?
That's me before leaving quarantine. A selfie with the people who looked after me.
