Mumbai Walkathon next month
The motive behind initiating the walkathon is to educate people about the benefits of walking, according to organisers.
On ‘World Walking Day’ — October 7 Skechers Performance Mumbai Walkathon will be organised at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex. The announcement was made on Wednesday in the presence of Bollywood celebrity Kiara Advani, who urged the masses to come, join the Walkathon, and walk of fitness.
The motive behind initiating the walkathon is to educate people about the benefits of walking, according to organisers. The walkathon consists of a 3-7 KM stretch across BKC, open for all age groups. Walkers that successfully complete the course across three categories will receive a medal and certificate
Fun experiences from street artists, musical performances, rolling band, comedy gigs at the end of the finish.
