BenQ has launched a new monitor, the SW271 that features a 4K resolution panel, wide colour gamut support and HDR10 support. The 27-inch 4K monitor relies on a 10-bit IPS panel which the company claims can help professionals working on photos, videos and graphics. The BenQ SW271 comes with a price tag of Rs $1,100.

The model offers HDR10 support with 99 percent Adobe RGB colour space and 93 percent DCI-P3 colour space. According to BenQ, the AQCOLOR technology provides users total control over the display’s colour reproduction via hardware colour calibration. The model also includes a hotkey ‘puck’ to access commonly used settings. It also comes with a detachable shading hood to reduce ambient light interference. The monitor includes a stand that lets it rotate the panel clockwise or anti-clockwise.

The connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 connectors, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C input and a headphone jack. Apart from this, the monitor comes with a dual-port USB 3.0 Type-A hub as well as an SD card reader. As of now, the BenQ SW271 display is only available in the US.
