Karanvir Bohra to turn grey for the big screen
Television actor Karanvir Bohra will soon be back on the big screen. Karanvir is currently shooting his untitled film in Kulu Manali where he will be essaying a negative role — an anti-hero. “Playing the relentless lover has been my forte, but keeping it different from what I have already done is a challenge. I feel the anti-hero is one space that hasn’t been explored properly in Bollywood,” he says speaking to us from the film sets. “By god’s grace the weather has been on our side. Shooting for a movie is a different experience altogether,” he adds.
Karanvir has teamed with Qubool Hai director for the film. Talking to us about how the project materialised he says, “I spent a year on just picking the right script. Mukesh Chhabra (casting director) loved the script in the very first reading. We now have Samir Kochhar on board and we will finalise the heroine once we are back in Mumbai.”
So is it goodbye to TV then “Not at all. I’m working on another concept and we start work on our TV show soon. It will not be a daily soap and will be in seasons. I can't be away from TV too long.”
