Ivanka Trump thanks Modi post invitation to lead US delegation in India

Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are close advisers to Donald Trump.

Washington: Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the President of United States Donald Trump, to lead a delegation of American entrepreneurs while on his first meeting with the US President, on Monday, at White House in Washington.

Addressing the joint media along with the US President, Modi said, "I have invited her (Ivanka Trump) to lead the US delegation for global entrepreneurship forum."

As Modi invited Trump and the rest of his family, as well, the President said, "And I believe she has accepted it," referring to Ivanka.

Ivanka Trump, 35, one of the more active members of the Trump administration, expressed her gratitude for Modi's invitation by thanking him for the invitation to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India.

Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are close advisers to Donald Trump. Ivanka Trump had also been allotted her own office at the West Wing in March.
