My daughter and I best friends, says Manasi Joshi Roy

I have had several best relationship bonds with several incredible people in my life. The all have taught me some wonderful lessons that have helped me tremendously till now.  When I was a child, it  (best bond) was my father. As I grew up, it was my brother. When I met Rohit (Roy) it was him, and when my daughter was born, she became a part of ‘our’ bond. And today she and Rohit are my raison d’être for life and beyond.

Kiara is almost 15 years old now and she’s an extremely delightful companion. From watching TV to shopping and eating out, we share pretty much everything together. Also, we share a night time ritual where just before she falls asleep, we unwind and talk about our respective days. And, that’s when our bond is at its strongest.

I love her to death and she is the reason for my happiness.
