Sena gears up for polls, has review meeting

Mumbai: Shiv Sena is firm on its decision of going solo in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and would finalise the candidates for Lok Sabha elections during Navratri. As BJP is mulling the proposal of conducting LS and Assembly elections together, Sena has begun its preparations.

Chief Uddhav Thackeray conducted the review mee-ting of the South Mumbai and South Central constituency. While asking lea-ders to be prepared for early elections, he said the main fight will be against BJP.

“He will take review of constituencies from Vidar-bha in next 2 days. The party is preparing to contest on all 48 seats and candidates will be finalised in a month, said party sources.
