Priyanka Chopra’s bouncers upset media

Priyanka Chopra, who is making a foray into production with a Bhojpuri film, didn’t have an ideal warm-up with the Patna media. The actress’ bodyguards apparently, got into a scuffle with an overzealous media at a press conference organised for her film, Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kaashi.

Says an eyewitness, “This was Priyanka’s first visit to Patna and the Patna media was most excited. They were called to the P&M mall which is owned by Priyanka’s director Prakash Jha, for an interaction. At the press conference, Priyanka’s bouncers began to jostle the media. When they were asked to back off, they got even more aggressive.”

Incidentally, Priyanka’s Don co-star Shah Rukh Khan’s visit to the same mall some years ago had also ended abruptly with the local media staging a walkout after the superstar’s team allegedly got aggressive.

Bollywood’s bouncer defaulters Akshay Kumar’s bouncer recently punched a fan in the face at the airport, when the latter was trying to take a picture of the star. Akshay later issued a public apology to the fan.

Salman Khan’s bouncers had once misbehaved with photo-journalists. The actor refused to apologise to the photographers and asked them to leave if they so wished. They later boycotted the event.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s security got a little rough with an enthused set of fans during her Sarbjit shoot at the Golden Temple a few months ago.
