Rishi Kapoor speaks up for Shashi Kapoor

On Wednesday, Twitter was abuzz with rumours of actor Shashi Kapoor’s deteriorating health. Some posts on social media also suggested that he was in the hospital. The wheel-chair bound actor has been having some kidney troubles for a while now, but nothing that went out of hand. Since Twitter only fuelled the fire, nephew Rishi took to the micro- blogging site to hose it down.

“Uncle Shashi Kapoor is doing fine. Hope this ends all the speculation about him. Some rumour mongering is happening.”

When asked about it, son Kunal told the media, “He is at home...Stop spreading rumours. He is (very much) alive and is doing fine.”
