Salman Khan rekindles his passion for painting
Salman Khan seems to be in a mood to explore his talents outside acting these days. While his increased interest in singing exploits have come as a surprise to many, the actor is now apparently taking up another passion of his that has been dormant for a while now — painting. A talented-but-closet painter, Salman’s prowess with the brush has always been reserved for the eyes of his near and dear ones. When Ghajini was around its release, Salman had gifted Aamir Khan a painting of him (Aamir) and had also given actor Ranbir Kapoor a painting he made of his legendary grandfather Raj Kapoor. While the actor has stayed away from the canvas for a few years now, it is said that he still keeps his touch intact by doodling between shoots. Some time ago, while on the sets of a reality show that he had attended to promote one of his films, the actor stunned everyone by drawing a sketch of Lord Shiva in a matter of just ten minutes.
And now, after years of not exploring his talent, the actor has finally decided to give some attention to his old passion. In a chat with us, he revealed that he had started painting again just a few days ago. When quizzed about his long-pending plan of putting up an exhibition, the actor revealed, “Yes, there is a plan, but I have not been able to find the time I need. But I’ve taken up painting again and started working on it just three days ago. I need to get my canvas and my subject right and I need to concentrate on it. Right now, I am just doing random stuff really.”
