Ranveer Singh going through tough time as his grandmother passes away

It is a sad day for Ranveer Singh and his fans as his dear grandmother, who was as important to him as oxygen and water, breathed her last.

She was reportedly unwell since a long time and her cause of death isn’t known as yet. Ranveer’s to-be wife Deepika Padukone visited her in the hospital too.

Ranveer Singh was supposed to attend a press conference with regards to him being appointed as the brand ambassador of Switzerland tourism, but he obviously cancelled the event to be there with his family.

The actor is also expected to soon start shooting for his and Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie ‘Simmba’, which also stars Sara Ali Khan with him. The film is produced by Karan Johar.
