I would love to work with Deepika Padukone: Surya Sharma

Surya Sharma who is all set to make his web debut with Applause Entertainment’s Hostages, setting the foreground of his web ventures. The young actor who plays a key role in the crime thriller is keen on working with Bollywood’s box office queen Deepika Padukone. Sharing his excitement, he said, “I would love to work with Deepika Padukone as I love her craft and she is very talented.”

Apart from Deepika, Surya considers Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui his idols in the industry. “All of them are an inspiration to me in various ways.

They inspire me to work with perfection, work towards the society and how to keep improving day by day.”

An engaging crime thriller, Hostages revolves around the life of a renowned surgeon who is ordered to assassinate the chief minister, in exchange for the survival of her family. An official adaptation of internationally acclaimed series, ‘Hostages’ brings to life an impossible predicament with no middle ground. The series has been directed by Sudhir Mishra. It is currently streaming on Hotstar.

Surya Sharma, best known for his work in TV show Kaala Teeka will also been seen in Applause Entertainment’s upcoming thriller series Andekhi.
