A storytelling day in the library
Chrissy, who’s been acing the social media game between raising her kids and publishing best-selling cookbooks, went to the public library first time in 23 years since she was there last. This time, she’d accompanied her three-year-old daughter Luna for a group storytelling session. Later, she tweeted about the experience.
“I just went to the public library for the first time in *23* years. I could not believe my eyes. Did group storytelling with Luna, ran around hiding in nooks and crannies, got inspired by 1 million cookbooks and spotted many a difference in a highlights magazine. was awesome (sic),” she tweeted.
According to People, Chrissy’s tweet was in response to another Twitter user defending a girl who was being shamed for going to the library and becoming a public library member.
Adding her characteristic humour to another tweet about the simplicity of a public library, she said, “I walked in and was like ‘wait you can just….walk in?’ then I walked out and was like ‘wait you can just…walk out?’ (sic)”
