The age of the underbob!

Ladies, the monsoons may not spell great news for your hair, as you may not be able to give a nod to a variety of trendy updos.

Ladies, the monsoons may not spell great news for your hair, as you may not be able to give a nod to a variety of trendy updos. But that’s no reason to whine – for, the biggest hair trend this season is all about celebrating individuality! And that means, taking a break from heated tools and embracing your natural texture.

Women with long hair, who are not ready to chop off their locks, can opt for long but soft layers – helping in framing their faces. The long layers allow for the hair to be pulled up into a trendy top knot or sleek ponytail when it gets too hot. The half top knot is another sassy, cool option to beat the heat in style. And the biggest plus It's easy to style and can be done with just about any length of hair!

On the other hand, those who prefer shorter haircuts can opt for the Layered bob. It is light-weight, has beautiful movement and at the same time, can be worn scrunched, out of bed or even sleek straight. Use an anti-frizz leave-in cream to enhance the natural movement of your hair. Even high definition curling creams are recommended to define those curls and keep them in shape.

However, this monsoon, there’s clearly quite a rage for the bold – yes, the Undercut is in vogue and how! Moreover, you can have the most classic haircut and still have an undercut at the nape – created in different shapes or design. This is a cut you can hide and show-off depending on your mood, or just whenever you want to. This can be done on any length, texture and face shape as it stays under the main haircut. The favourites of the season, however, are the ones coupled with short cropped haircuts on days you’d want to show off your under cuts like you own it!
