3D sex organs will help blind students learn about sex

Disabled children and people face many challenges every single day and while it get difficult, their lives are being made easier through various inventions. Sex education particularly is very important and researchers have now developed 3D models to help children while they are given sex education in school.

According to a report in Mashable, the researchers created over 18 three dimensional figures of sex organs in different situations and states of arousal. While an erect penis is obvious, they also have a flaccid penis and dilated vaginal opening that would help students to feel the organs during sex education class. A recent research highlighted that about 61 percent of blind adults faced a problem during sex because of their lack of vision. The researchers at Benetech, a non-profit organization specializing in tech to help people decided to make lives easier with the models to educate children.

Apart from being a game changer for sex education among blind children in school, the inventors also believe that it will help children who can see understand the subject better. While technology is going to play a big part in education, teaching sex education just got easier for teachers.
