MSRDC announces lowest bidders for Mahamarg

As on date, the government has acquired 81 per cent private and government land, said Mr Mopalwar.

Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) on Thursday announced the names of 13 lowest bidders (L-1) out of the 18 eligible bidders for construction of 13 packages of the 700km Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg (MSM) Expressway.

Announcing the names, vice-chairman and managing director of MSRDC, Radheshyam Mopalwar, said, “With the outcome of the financial bids, we have completed yet another important step of this mega infrastructure project. We will now immediately undertake the process of evaluating the valuations submitted by the financial bidders. After completion of due diligence in the next few days, we may issue work orders.”

As on date, the government has acquired 81 per cent private and government land, said Mr Mopalwar. The Rs 49,247 crore MSM project will connect 10 districts, 26 talukas and 392 villages in the state.
