Mumbai: Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has fast-tracked the work of Metro 2A (Dahisar to D.N. Nagar) and Metro 7 (Andheri east to Dahisar east), and has recently invited bids for procuring fire detection and safety systems, automatic fare collection (AFC) gates, and signalling systems for the two metro lines.
