Mansi-Samriddhi clinch U-15 title in badminton
The second game was a relatively easy one for the Mumbai-based pair as they raced on to their championship win.
Mansi Karekar and Samriddhi Kshatriya of JDBA Badminton Foundation won the Girl’s Doubles Under-15 title in the just-concluded Gadre 3rd Sub-Junior State Ranking Tournament at Ratnagiri.
They beat the Pune pair of Riddhi Pudkey and Prutha Dekate 22-20,21-9. It was a tensed affair in the first game. However the second game was a relatively easy one for the Mumbai-based pair as they raced on to their championship win.
“This is a great victory for the young pair. However, this is just the start. We are hugely grateful to BKLP, Kalidas Complex, Mulund and their staff for giving us the platform to help these talented players out,” said Jayesh Dhuri, chief coach of JDBA.
