BenQ launches its flagship gaming monitor in India

At the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND India Qualifier event, BenQ announced its latest gaming monitor in India. Called the BenQ Zowie XL2546, it features a 240Hz refresh rate, which clearly puts it in the specialised gaming accessories segment.

Apart from its 240Hz refresh rate, the gaming monitor also features a host of picture enhancing tools such as the DyAc technology that helps render pictures in enhanced clarity. There’s also a built-in Black eQualizer technology that BenQ claims to brighten darkened areas of the screen without overexposing the bright areas.

The monitor has an anti-glare frame and also has shields on both sides like professional gaming monitors to block distractions for the gamer. There’s an S Switch for accessing three custom graphical settings. The monitor’s height from the desk can also be adjusted — courtesy its height-adjustable stand. BenQ will be selling the Zowie XL2546 gaming monitor in India for a price of Rs 50,000.
