Sridevi to surge ahead

Sridevi has been hailed as the first female superstar of Bollywood, having ruled the world of Hindi cinema for many years and for occupying a prominent place in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. She has successfully rewritten the rules of time in the colourful world of films and television too. 

Sridevi has many achievements in her glorious career. She has acted in a number of Bollywood films and won wide critical acclaim for Sadma (1983), Nagina (1986), Chaalbaaz (1989), Lamhe (1991), Khuda Gawah (1992), Gumrah (1993), Laadla (1994) and Judaai (1997). Thereafter, she became the only actress to make a highly successful comeback with her movie English Vinglish in 2012.    

With her 300th movie, Mom, which released last week, Sridevi’s stars appear to be still shining brightly and Ganesha predicts that the actress will continue to surge ahead and taste success.
