Bipasha Basu suffers panic attack

While Bipasha Basu has been enjoying marital bliss with hubby Karan Singh Grover, she suffered a health scare this week, following which the Alone actress has had to cancel all her professional commitments.

A close source revealed that the actress had made a trip to the hospital while unwell. “Bipasha was invited for a dahi handi function on Thursday in Pune. The actress travelled all the way to Pune, where she suffered a panic attack and was rushed back to Mumbai. The actress was temporarily in a suburban hospital.” Bipasha was supposed to walk the ramp for a designer at the ongoing fashion week, but ended up cancelling her appearance at the last minute. To manage the crisis, the designer’s team has roped in actress Sushmita Sen for the same show as a showstopper, the source added.

When contacted, Bipasha’s spokesperson confirmed that she hadn’t been keeping well. “She is extremely unwell, however she is attending the fashion week.” When probed further on whether she’s attending as a showstopper or a guest, the spokesperson remained mum.
