Brand sharks chase newlyweds

Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput seem to be the ‘it’ couple in the advertising world at the moment. We hear that the newlyweds, Mrs and Mrs Kapoor have been bombarded with brand opportunities and the brief is very clear—the ad needs the two to feature as husband and wife much like Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri or Saif and Kareena in a few other ads.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Shahid has so far been approached by a paint brand, jewellery brand, matrimonial website, home decor and furniture brand among others. The couple is contemplating offers but not in a hurry to take up anything yet.”

Mira who is in no way related to the film industry until now, seems interested in the prospect we hear, but hasn’t given out a straight ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to anyone yet.
