Deepika Padukone shoots for Majidi

Deepika Padukone was unrecognisable in a worn-out salwar kurta, as she posed for the cameras in the bylanes of Dharavi.

Turns out, the exercise was a look test for acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s untitled film. While not much is known about the hush hush project, it is believed to be set in Mumbai, Delhi and parts of Kashmir, UP and Rajasthan, and will take off in early 2017.
