On January 28, actor Hrithik Roshan had tweeted saying, “Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful) women d media hs ben naming (sic).” What appeared to be a knee-jerk reaction to Kangana Ranaut referring to him as a ‘silly ex’ got him in more trouble than he was anticipating. He was slapped with a legal notice by Abraham Mathai, who happens to be the All India President of the Indian Christian Voice, an organisation representing the larger interests of the Christian community, including the Roman Catholics in India.

After receiving this notice on Saturday night, the actor promptly sent out an apology on Twitter, where he wrote: “Seems my tweet about His Holiness has led 2misunderstanding. My apologies 4 hurt caused 2religious or other sentiments. Was unintentional.”(Sic)

Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut got into a legal battle when he, after posting a controversial tweet, sent a notice to Kangana asking her to clarify her statement about the ‘silly ex’. While that battle continues, recently, cops summoned both Kangana and her sister Rangoli to the police station but their lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee sent a notice to the cops saying they cannot summon any woman to the police station like that. Two days later the cops replied to the notice saying they were no more required to come to the police station.
