Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, Tere Bin is a matured love story, and has managed to keep the audience hooked for a while. The actor plays the character of a surgeon in the show. Prod him about his role and he says, “Akshay Sinha, (the role essayed by Gaurav) is a level-headed guy, who thinks twice before taking an important decision. He is a dutiful husband and loves his daughter Neeti.” The actor reveals that the role is close to his heart since he even aspired to become a doctor. He says, “I studied biology in class 11. The actor has great expectations from the show, given his role gives him the opportunity to display his acting chops. Gaurav says, “I think audiences will love me as Dr. Akshay, since they have never seen me playing such a role previously. After working on so many shows, my sensibilities as an artiste has changed. You don’t want to take up similar roles again. Guys don’t get a chance to do much on television. The kind of footing I am getting makes me feel I am the leading lady of my show. I am lucky that I have essayed different roles in my acting career. I can only thank God that I was at the right place doing the right thing.”
