‘I’m blessed to be liked by Jeetuji’

Young actress Aditi Bhatia, who plays the character of Raman and Ishita Bhalla’s daughter Ruhi in Ye Hai Mohabbatein, has a rather famous fan — show’s producer Ekta Kapoor’s father and yesteryear actor Jeetendra. The actor is a self confessed fan of Aditi and has been watching the show religiously because of her. So bowled over was he by Aditi’s performance that he made it a point to personally meet her on the sets and convey it to her.

He said, “I only watch Ye Hai Mohabbatein on television. I absolutely love the character of Ruhi on the show. I think Aditi is doing a wonderful job of playing a tomboyish rockstar type character at such a young age. I am very impressed by her talent. So overwhelmed was I by her performance that I personally came to meet her and encourage her. She has a lot of spark and I am sure that she will become a big star one day.”

Sharing her excitement on meeting Jeetendra, Aditi said, “I am blessed to be liked and loved by an iconic personality like Jeetendraji. I never thought that he would like my performance so much. I am touched by his gesture of coming down all the way to meet me personally. In fact, I didn’t even believe the crew when they told me that Jeetuji is on the sets. I was a little nervous to speak to him but when I did, I felt on top of the world. He said my transition from Ruhaan to Ruhi is commendable and that I am a true rock star.”
