Kangana Ranaut to work with Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Kangana Ranaut is one of the highest paid actresses in the film industry and has bagged three National Awards despite not working with any of the three Khans from the industry. But she might finally be seen sharing screen space with King Khan himself and she has Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to thank for that.

At a recent event, she confirmed that Bhansali has discussed a film, where he wants her and Shah Rukh to play the lead characters. “Sanjay sir just spoke to me about the film, saying that he wants to make it with me and Shah Rukh sir. But it’s still at a very premature stage. It’s not that I am working with Shah Rukh sir tomorrow or something like that. Like I said, it’s at a very early stage,” said the actress.

Kangana has a Rani Laxmibai biopic, Hansal Mehta’s Simran and Ritesh Batra’s next film in her kitty, whereas Shah Rukh has Imtiaz Ali’s next film lined up for him. Bhansali is also set to start shooting for his magnum opus Padmavati. So we wonder when this project will take off, if it ever does.
