Let’s hope the marriage lasts: Salman Khan

Salman Khan and Bipasha Basu have never really seen eye to eye. They’ve never worked together and there is hardly an occasion in the past when Salman socialised with the Basu bride. Despite this background Salman attended her wedding, much to the gushing pleasure of the bridal couple.

Says an invitee, “The way Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover fawned over Salman was embarrassing. They kept telling everyone how happy they were that he came. After a point even Salman seemed embarrassed by the newly married miya-biwi’s effusive hospitality.”

Not that Salman ever gets impressed by attention. But, he was not bowled over by Basu and Grover’s “can’t-believe-you-came” act. When someone asked him what his wedding wishes were for couple Salman said with a poker face, “Let’s hope the marriage lasts.”

For the record, this is Karan Singh Grover’s third marriage!
