Hollywood actor Brendan Fraser, who played Rick O’Connell in The Mummy trilogy, landed in Mumbai to shoot for Rohit Batra’s American film.
According to reports, he will start shooting for the film from June 17 and it will be shot over a span of eight days. He will essay the role of an under-the-radar arms dealer based in Delhi. The American-Canadian actor will be in the city for around 12-13 days before he flies back to the US. The 47-year-old actor also mentioned that he was thrilled to visit India and the trip was long pending.
Brendan, known for comedies and fantasies, liked the script and immediately gave a nod to it. The film also features Ronit Roy, Neeraj Kabi and Prem Chopra to name a few. Brendan’s last film was The Nut Job in 2014. A sequel, titled The Nut Job 2, is scheduled to be released next year.
