Mandana to act in Sultan

Sources believe that the Bigg Boss contestant may well be the leading lady in the next Salman-starrer

If sources from the industry are to be believed, then Mandana Karimi will be part of Salman-starrer Sultan. There have been rumours regarding who the leading lady in the film will be, and actresses such as Parineeti Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon were approached in the past. But none of them were able to take up the offer due to various reasons. There were a lot of fresh faces that were auditioned for the role too, since later, Aditya Chopra wanted a new girl for the role. None of those were finalised either, leaving the spot vacant and the search on — until now.

According to our source, there is a high possibility of Bigg Boss contestant and Irani model/actress Mandana Karimi doing the role.

“Since the makers wanted a fresh face, there is a chance that they’d consider Mandana for the role.”

The film has Salman Khan playing the role of Sultan Ali Khan, a wrestler from Haryana. It will be directed by Abbas Ali Zafar and will also feature actor Amit Sadh. And like most of Salman’s big releases, this one too is scheduled to hit the theatres during the public holiday of Eid in 2016.
