Padmavati pushes super 30

Shahid Kapoor has been having a great time both personally and professionally this year. The actor is currently juggling between playing a doting father to daughter Misha and preparing for his upcoming movie Padmavati. The multitasking however, seems to be getting a little too much to handle for Shahid, and his present commitments have pushed the shoot of Super 30 to mid 2017.
Says a source close to the development, “After Rangoon, Shahid was juggling between films and parenthood. The actor even took his own sweet time to give a nod to Padmavati. Shahid was supposed to start Vikas Bahl’s Super 30, but since Sanjay Leela Bhansali required bulk dates from the actor, Vikas’ movie has been pushed to mid 2017. Shahid will first finish Padmavati and then start Super 30.”
Shahid was last seen as a troubled rockstar in Udta Punjab, and has hit the jackpot with SLB’s Padmavati. He has also wrapped up Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, following which he was to take up Super 30, which is a biopic on mathematician Anand Kumar. The last time Shahid teamed up with Vikas was in Shaandaar, and the results were not too inspiring. Hopefully, it will be second time lucky for Shahid and Vikas next year.
