They made a stunning, well-received debut together in Ishaqzaade and have gone on to make their own careers in Bollywood. But if sources are to be believed then actors Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor might soon be coming back together in Anees Bazmee’s Mubaraka. The makers have already approached Parineeti Chopra for the film and a source close to the development informs that she has given her nod to the project.

However, this pairing isn’t the only interesting aspect of Mubaraka’s casting. The film will also be bringing Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor together on screen for the first time. From what we hear, the two will be reprising their real life roles as uncle and nephew in the film too.

The film is in its scripting stages and the makers are currently finalising other members of the cast. Shaukeen producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde have also been roped in to produce the venture. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri. However things didn’t work out and post the success of Welcome Back, Anees Bazmee was roped in to direct it.

Producer Ashwin Varde remained unavailable for comment. A source from the industry reveals, “Parineeti has met the makers, but nothing has been finalised as yet.”
