Ranbir and Anushka’s lip locks chopped to half

It seems like every time Ranbir Kapoor locks lips with his leading ladies on screen, the movie’s team must lock horns with the Censor Board. One instance was where Ranbir and Deepika Padukone shared a kiss in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha.
Now it looks like history is repeating itself. Apparently, the Censor Board has curtailed Ranbir’s smooch scenes with Anushka Sharma in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
A source well-versed with the proceedings informs us, “There are a number of kissing scenes between Ranbir and Anushka in Ae Dil... While none of them have been deleted, each one has been reduced to 50 per cent of screen time. This is exactly what happened in Tamasha. The censor board had found Ranbir and Deepika’s kissing scenes to be too sizzling. Now, they’ve found Ranbir’s kissing in Ae Dil... to be too intense. The Censor Board has told Karan that Ranbir’s smooching urge must be curbed.”
Considering the amount of trouble Karan’s latest movie has been running into, it looks like the filmmaker has another troublesome matter at hand that will need serious attention. Ae Dil... is slated to release on October 28.
