Rohan Mehra to don Aamir Khan’s Ghajini look

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set for another big leap. The new plot post the five-year leap will see key actor Rohan Mehra going in for a makeover. He will be seen donning Aamir Khan’s Ghajini look in the show. Rohan says, “I have been a huge fan of Aamir Khan. In fact I have been in awe of him since I was a child. Now, that I have got the chance to don his Ghajini look, it’s like a dream come true for me.”

The role will see Naksh, essayed by Rohan, turn into a more matured individual, which is a far cry from his current character. He says, “Naksh turns into a workaholic — he is no longer the lively son he used to be. He will continue to be caring, but work remains his priority. I will be seen wearing a lot of leather jackets.”

Rohan has been specifically asked to gain weight to look older for the leap. The actor seems to be very enthusiastic about the challenge of piling on a few kilos. In fact, he suggests he is all set to gain the weight before the stipulated time. He says, “I have started weight training and am even on a diet.”
