Rohit and Shah Rukh Khan to join hands again

There are loud whispers about the Chennai Express and Dilwale duo collaborating on another project. Could they be talking Golmaal 4 The friendship between Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh is only getting stronger. They first collaborated for Chennai Express, which was a blockbuster. Now they are working together for Dilwale and the buzz is that the two are planning a co-production.

A source told this paper, “Rohit and Shah Rukh discuss a lot of movies and they have really hit off well since Chennai Express. They share a great comfort level are are constantly bouncing story ideas off each other. Rohit is also keen to remake Angoor with Shah Rukh but that doesn’t feature in his immediate plans.”

It seems during one of their many discussions, Golmaal 4 came up and it seemed an interesting proposition. But there is a catch. The rights of the franchise belongs to film financer Raju Shah, who confirmed that Rohit did speak with him recently about taking the franchise forward. Raju said, “Yes, Rohit met me and spoke to me about Golmaal 4. But he has not said anything about Shah Rukh’s involvement. I don’t know. So let’s see how it all goes. Golmaal is incomplete without Ajay.”

It is not known yet if SRK intends to be involved as an actor too in the project. A source said, “This is just the initial discussion. Nothing has been finalised but Rohit is keen to take it ahead. However, Ajay has been part of all the Golmaal series. Shah Rukh and Ajay haven’t been the best of friends but after their meeting in Bulgaria they may have mended fences. It will be interesting to see if Ajay says a ‘yes’ to work in a project where Shah Rukh is also involved.”
