Sachin biopic rushes to beat Dhoni

The makers of the Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic (which marks his acting debut), are in a hurry to release the film. The film apparently was being shot over the last one-and-a-half years, but was kept under wraps. Now that the poster and teaser of Dhoni’s biopic is out, Sachin’s filmmakers have gotten into swift action to release the film.

A source said, “The production house wants the film to release before the Dhoni biopic — that is before September 2. The makers have suddenly swung into action and released the poster yesterday. They have instructed the team to edit the film quickly, so that they can release it before Dhoni’s biopic.”

Dhoni’s biopic stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic stars the cricketer himself.
