Saif’s daughter to be launched opposite Shahid’s brother

If reliable sources within the film industry are to be believed, Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara will be launched opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan in a very unusual love story. The film will be produced by Karan Johar.

Says a source close to the development, “It is not enough anymore to make a boy-meets-girl launch pad for two star kids. The launch vehicle has to be an out-of-the-box showcase to accentuate the debutants’ personalities. Sara and Ishaan are ready. The script is being worked on.”

Both Sara and Ishaan have harboured acting ambitions since childhood. Sara who has graduated from Colombia University, grew up watching her parents leave for shoots every day. For Ishaan, his brother Shahid’s a hero. Shahid, in fact, is actively involved in his kid-brother’s diet, physique and grooming.

Both Sara and Ishaan are open to other career options too. “They are not looking at acting as their first and last option,” the source adds.

In the meantime, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Jhanvi has been turning down offers from Karan Johar, Yash Raj Films and several other big production houses. Apparently, the young lady who seems to know her mind well enough to say no to these biggies, is currently looking at other career options. Clearly her decisions are paying off for her contemporaries already.
